SUMMARY:Moth Night at Turkey Creek Nature Preserve
DESCRIPTION:Are you mesmerized by moths? Join the Jefferson County Greenways Naturalists and moth expert Stott Noble at the Turkey Creek Nature Preserve Pavilion for a moth-some evening filled with engaging activities\, education\, and fun! We will have a short animal program featuring nocturnal natives\, followed by a guided hike\, a game\, and a craft.  After the sun sets\, we will gather around the moth sheet for live moth viewing and identification. It’s going to be moth-nificent! \nAccessibility: The moth-watching portion of the event will take place in an ADA-accessible Pavilion with bathrooms. The guided hike will follow a flat\, grass trail with no elevation change for approximately ¼ mile. This hike is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs \nDisclaimer: This program has limited space available.
