We’re thrilled to welcome Excelsior Band\, for a captivating live jazz performance. \nThe Excelsior Band® carries a rich and colorful legacy deeply rooted in the traditions of Carnival\, Mobile\, and the Gulf Coast. Founded in 1883 by John A. Pope to celebrate the birth of his son\, the band has been a vibrant part of Mobile’s musical culture for more than a century. Based in the birthplace of Mardi Gras in the United States\, the Excelsior Band® is widely recognized as a cultural ambassador for the City of Mobile.
