The 5K course will take participants past key community landmarks\, including Woodlawn High School\, i3 Academy\, Willow Wood Park\, and new neighborhood developments that reflect the continued growth and investment happening throughout the area. \nMore than a race\, Move for Impact is a celebration of community. Following the race\, participants and neighbors are invited to enjoy a free Wellness Day experience featuring: \n• Health screenings and wellness resources\n• Farmers market-style vendors\n• Fitness demonstrations and activities\n• Youth and family engagement opportunities\n• Community organizations and local businesses \nThe Wellness Day event is free and open to the community\, but RSVPs are encouraged so we can plan well for attendees. \nRace registration is separate and will be completed through another link. Guests also have the opportunity to vote for the coveted People’s Choice Award\, selecting their favorite tablescape before lunch is served. \nEntertainment includes exceptional musical performances featuring acclaimed Birmingham violinist Haleigh Black who will be joined by the Geni Skendo Quartet. Their program\, Jazz from Around the Globe\, blends the expressive beauty of the violin with the rhythms and improvisation of jazz.  Their performance will explore musical traditions inspired by cultures from around the world.
