Born in Brooklyn to a Caribbean American family and raised in the Bronx, Brathwaite traces his artistic and political sensibilities to his youth. | This traditional yoga practice is done through a set of poses (asanas) with an emphasis on linking the breath (prana) and movement. The style incorporates a heating breath and actively moves through a series of postures to heat the body and encourage sweating.
