DESCRIPTION:5th annual Friends of the Trussville Library fundraiser! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nJoin us for another fun year of supporting the Friends in their mission to help the library be the best it can be for the community! \nEvery year\, the Friends host the Bookin’ It 5K to raise funds that support the library’s programs\, prizes\, and collections all year long. The Bookin’ It 5K starts and finishes at the Trussville Public Library and is chip timed. A race t-shirt is also included with the registration fee! \nThe race will begin at 8AM\, but join us earlier that morning for vendors\, giveaways\, and more fun! \n  \nNEW THIS YEAR:\n– We have new runner categories to choose from! You can sign up as a regular runner\, a stroller-pusher\, or\, for those who can’t make it to the race\, as a virtual/sleep-in supporter! \n– You can now choose additional shirt sizes for adults and children!

History Park is located in the Historic 4th Avenue Business District of Birmingham’s Civil Rights District. The race provides a healthy kick off to activities leading up to the annual football game between Alabama State University & Alabama A&M University.
