Plus trivia with special prizes! The program will run approximately 30 minutes long\, followed by a photo opportunity with Dav Pilkey. \nIn addition to the above\, there will be fun activities including a photo-opportunity with the Captain Underpants and Dog Man costume characters\, exclusive giveaways\, and more. \nAttendees are encouraged to power up and dress up as Captain Underpants\, Dog Man\, Cat Kid\, or your favorite Dav Pilkey book character! \nABOUT THE EVENT + TICKETS: \nEach ticket costs $25.00 (inclusive of all taxes and fees) and includes the event experience plus a pre-signed copy of Captain Underpants: The First Epic Manga\, written and adapted by Dav Pilkey\, with full color illustrations by Japanese manga artist Motojiro — plus a limited edition Captain Underpants hypno ring! \nYour pre-signed copy of Captain Underpants: The First Epic Manga with hypno ring will be available for pick-up as you enter the event. \nInspired by one of the themes in Dav Pilkey’s books about the importance of doing good\, if you wish to give away any of your extra signed books\, we are happy to donate it on your behalf to our literacy organization partner\, Better Basics. \nHELPFUL TIPS/GUIDELINES: \nFor guidelines\, please check with the bookstore/event host. Due to the number of people waiting in line for the photo opportunity with Dav Pilkey\, it is very much appreciated these guidelines are followed. \nParking—Street parking\, UAB Zone lots F1 and F3 (F3 is located behind AEIVA) – are available. Weekday parking varies based on the event. Accessible spaces are in Zone F-3\, and on 10th Avenue South and the lower circle. Patron drop-off areas are in upper and lower circles.
