A graduate of the University of Tennessee\, Julia earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism management as well as a degree in plant sciences\, concentrating in public horticulture. Previously\, Julia has served as an intern at the Denver Botanical Gardens where she worked closely with the director of the Japanese Garden and the Bonsai Horticulturist. \nThis experience sparked Julia’s interest in Japanese Gardens and their attentive design\, symbolic artistry\, and maintenance.
