After about an hour\, we will pause to reflect on our discoveries\, share observations\, and answer questions before making our way back downstream to the boat launch. \nThis flat-water\, out-and-back trip is designed for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Since there is no current to assist or resist our paddling\, we will set a comfortable pace\, ensuring that no one feels rushed or fatigued early on. Participants will put in and take out at the same location\, eliminating the need for a shuttle. \nIn total\, we will spend approximately two hours on the water\, with an additional hour for setup and breakdown\, making the entire experience last around three hours. We ask that you dress accordingly for the weather and wear closed toe shoes such as boots\, tennis shoes\, or waterproof shoes if you intend to wade into the river. We recommend bringing a small backpack or bag with a water bottle\, snacks\, and anything else you feel you may need while participating in this event.\n\n\n\nYou will receive a reminder the week before this event with further information.
