In a nod to the film’s Alabama roots\, the filmmakers are planning to hold the premiere at Sidewalk Film Center + Cinema\, a beacon for independent film in the state\, in Birmingham\, AL. The Safe Havens World Premiere will be followed by 8 additional screenings over the following two days. Each screening will be followed by a Q&A Session where moviegoers will have the opportunity to gain insight into the film from the cast & crew that worked on it\, but only the world premiere will be followed by a reception where the audience will have the opportunity to socialize with the Safe Havens cast & crew. \nThe Safe Havens Team is beyond excited to be sharing this story with the public and are especially proud to be screening the film here in Birmingham first! SUMMARY:Napoleon Dynamite: A Conversation with Jon Heder\, Efren Ramirez & Jon Gries
DESCRIPTION:This unique evening includes a full screening of Napoleon Dynamite followed by a lively\, freewheeling\, discussion with fan-favorite cast members; Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite)\, Jon Gries (Uncle Rico) and Efren Ramirez (Pedro). \nThe live show – perfect for the whole family — is a wild and hysterical blend of Q&A\, comedy improv\, game show\, and party\, with plenty of audience participation. Come join the fun and help celebrate this wonderful movie classic! \nThe beloved indie classic Napoleon Dynamite was released 20 years ago. Since then\, much has changed; but the characters\, as enduring as they are endearing\, stay in our hearts. \nAppealing to the inner-teenager in each of us\, the story\, and more importantly the dialogue\, makes Napoleon Dynamite one of the most quoted movies of our time. \nNapoleon Dynamite makes us laugh – and laugh hard – over and over again.
