SUMMARY:Historic Main Street Oxford's Witches Walk and Ride on Main
DESCRIPTION:The 6th Annual Witches Ride & Walk on Main returns to Historic Main Street Oxford on Saturday\, October 24\, 2026.Witches\, warlocks\, goblins\, and other costumed participants of all ages are invited to walk or ride bicycles through downtown while tossing candy to spectators along the route. The event will travel along Snow Street\, College Street\, East Choccolocco Street\, and Main Street.Participant registration begins at 5:30 p.m. The Ride & Walk will make its way down Main Street beginning at 6:30 p.m.Registration is $25 for adults\, $10 for students ages 13–18\, and free for children ages 0–12. Registration includes an official event T-shirt for those who pre-register by Friday\, October 9 using the link provided in Historic Main Street Oxford social media.Registrations received after Friday\, October 9 will include event admission only and will not include a T-shirt.Participants are encouraged to dress up\, bring plenty of candy to share\, and join us for an evening of Halloween fun and community spirit. All proceeds benefit Historic Main Street Oxford programs.Four-legged friends will have the opportunity to join in the fun as Ulti-Mutt Bakery will host a Pup Parade & Costume Contest beginning at 2:30 p.m.Highland Groove\, a dynamic four-piece band blending the heart of Southern soul with the energy of funk\, rock\, and jam-band improvisation\, will provide the soundtrack of the night as they perform from 6-8 p.m. at the Simmons Park gazebo. \nFor more information\, call 256-862-6067.

Beneath the lights of Crestline Village\, friends and neighbors share a meal together while Leadership Mountain Brook students help serve the very community that has gathered to support them. \nThat connection is at the heart of Harvest on Hoyt. \nProceeds from the evening benefit Leadership Mountain Brook\, a partnership between the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce\, the City of Mountain Brook\, and Mountain Brook City Schools. DESCRIPTION:The Guild of the Birmingham Music Club proudly presents theirAnnual Tablescapes Luncheon on November 5th “Where Art Meets Music”. \nThe Guild’s 5th Annual Tablescapes Luncheon is a showcase of artistry where elegant table settings become works of art\, music fills the room and generosity helps shape the future of young musicians from across the great state of Alabama. \nEach table tells its own unique story through china\, crystal\, linens\, and florals\, offering guests endless inspiration and ideas for entertaining. \nGuests stroll through beautifully decorated tables while enjoying music by pianist Eyleen Widjanarko. Guests also have the opportunity to vote for the coveted People’s Choice Award\, selecting their favorite tablescape before lunch is served. \nEntertainment includes exceptional musical performances featuring acclaimed Birmingham violinist Haleigh Black who will be joined by the Geni Skendo Quartet. Their program\, Jazz from Around the Globe\, blends the expressive beauty of the violin with the rhythms and improvisation of jazz.  Their performance will explore musical traditions inspired by cultures from around the world.
