DESCRIPTION:| 			\n			\n							 \n\n\n\n\nThe nonprofit Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens will host its annual Fall Plant Sale on Friday\, September 5–Saturday\, September 6. Hundreds of plants—many of which have been nurtured at the Gardens by the Friends’ dedicated volunteer growing groups—will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the sale will support the Friends’ mission: to protect\, nurture\, and share the wonders of Birmingham Botanical Gardens. \nAttendees will have the chance to choose from dozens of varieties of natives\, perennials\, herbs\, tropicals\, ferns\, camellias\, trees\, and shrubs\, as well as the opportunity to gain expert advice from seasoned gardeners\, many of whom have trained under the Jefferson County Master Gardener program.  \nMembers of the Friends will enjoy first dibs on plant offerings through our Member Early-Bird Shopping (1–5:30 p.m. on Thursday\, September 4). \n\n\n          \n \nBecome a Friend of the Gardens and join us in our mission to protect\, nurture\, and share the wonders of Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
