The nonprofit Sav-A-Life provides wrap-around services so that the clients who walk through their doors make life-affirming choices for themselves and their unborn children. \nMay 30\, 8:30 pm – Down Syndrome of Alabama\nAbout one in 700 children are born with Down syndrome. That’s 85 births each year in Alabama. The future for them\, and their caregivers\, is fraught with a variety of worries and stress. Through Advocacy\, Connections and Education\, the nonprofit Down Syndrome of Alabama envisions a state where individuals with Down syndrome are accepted and included for who they are.
