“Women, Money and Power” an evening with Sallie Krawcheck presented by the Athena Collective
March 13, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Sallie Krawcheck, co-founder and CEO of Ellevest, has a history of turning around and growing troubled businesses and advocating a true client-centered business model, earning her reputation once as the “most powerful woman on Wall Street.” She had a head-slapping, “a-ha!” moment when she realized the investing industry has been, frankly, “by men, for men” and so women have not invested as much as men have. On March 19, Sallie will share her ideas on how we can change the imbalance that keeps women from achieving their financial goals, and provide insight and solutions that inspire inclusion and equality — not only when it comes to investing, but in using the power of business to make the world a better place.
Sallie has led Merrill Lynch, Smith Barney, and Citi Private Bank as CEO; she was called “The Last Honest Analyst” by Fortune Magazine and one of Fast Company’s “Most Creative People in Business.” Fortune Magazine and Forbes have consistently listed her as one of the “Most Powerful Women” in business. Her life’s mission is to help women to reach their financial and professional goals.
