If you like a good party and football (and who in Birmingham doesn’t), the Uptown Street Fest and Pep Rally on January 1, 2020, and the TicketSmarter Birmingham Bowl on January 2 will get your New Year started right.Whether or not you’re going to the game, the Uptown Street Fest and Pep Rally should be on your calendar. Here’s why. You can cheer for a team, listen to some live music, enjoy tasty food and drink. Bonus, your kiddos can play all day at this family-friendly event. There’s no cost for this great big Birmingham New Year’s Day party.

After you’ve partied all afternoon on New Year’s Day, it’s time to head to the 14th Annual TicketSmarter Birmingham Bowl. Kickoff is at 2PM on Thursday, January 2, 2020, at historic Legion Field. You don’t want to miss this “matchup of the year between the Atlantic Coast Conference and the American Athletic Conference.”
