SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 | EVENTS AT HAVEN
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
The ladies of Engaged Wedding Library invite you to join us for our annual wedding planning event, the Engaged Collective! This afternoon of wedding planning will allow Birmingham brides to connect with some of the best vendors in town.
The Engaged Collective will take place on Sun., Sept. 19 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Haven, 2515 6th Ave S. in Birmingham.
“This year’s event will showcase Engaged’s curated collection of top wedding vendors, including bridal gown shops, photographers and videographers, floral designers, caterers, cake bakers, and more.“Our vendors are eager and ready to get to meet our brides in-person again and connect during the wedding planning process,” said Stephanie Whitaker, owner of Engaged. “It’s been a year of creativity and flexibility, and our brides are excited for this curated collection to help simplify and enhance their wedding planning.”
More than 50 local wedding vendors will be participating in the Engaged Collective, many of those are part of Engaged’s vendor partnership program, which gives their curated vendor group the opportunity to connect with the right brides, by matchmaking them based on qualifiers like budget and vision.
“For 15 years, I’ve been working with brides and vendors in the Birmingham wedding industry,” said Whitaker. “Bringing the best of the best in the industry to one place helps our brides in their planning process and allows brides to meet them all in one day,” Engaged Wedding Library owner Stephanie Whitaker said. “We know wedding planning can be stressful and time-consuming, and it’s our mission to help make it easier and enjoyable for our brides!”
Since opening her shop, Whitaker has hosted more than 20 wedding shows and has a true sense for what brides are looking for.
“At Engaged, we like to say we help make sense of Google and Pinterest,” says Whitaker. “Instead of mining through thousands of pages of inspiration and photos, we meet with our brides to hear their about what’s important to them, and help direct them through all the noise and stress. That’s why our brides love us!”
Coming off a year of Zoom engagement parties and virtual style consults, Engaged is focusing on celebrating brides —from toasting with a mimosa upon entry of the show to giveaways to brides in attendance.
Sponsors for The Engaged Collective include Diamonds Direct, Events at Haven, Event Rentals Unlimited and PropHouse.
Brides can pre-register and find more information at EngagedCollective.com. Tickets are $10 for non-members, with complimentary tickets for members, and can be purchased online or at the door.
