Sweet Home Soirée Birmingham

The Presbyterian Home for Children hosts the Sweet Home Soirée in three cities in Alabama each year. The Soirée is the Home’s signature gala that serves as an important fundraiser and as a fun-filled fellowship featuring a plated dinner, live jazz music and silent and live auctions. The Soirées also give the Home the opportunity to recognize individuals who have been faithful and impactful ministry partners, enabling the continuing services for the precious children and youth entrusted in the Home’s care. Join us for Sweet Home Soirée Birmingham on March 16 at The Club. At the 2023 Soirees, the Home will be honoring the Presbyterian Women of the PC (USA) churches of Alabama, whose faith and hard work raised the funds to build the Home 155 years ago, and whose support has never wavered. The Sweet Home Soirée’s fun and engaging live auction will be hosted by one of the world’s leading auctioneers Terri Walker, AL License #1233. Saxophonist Jerry Robbins will be back to share his smooth stylings with us once again in 2023. It’s hard to imagine the Soirées without Jerry’s talent providing the soundtrack.
