Sunset Hike at Cheaha/McDill Point
January 7, 2023 @ 1:30 pm - 6:30 pm
We will meet at the Cheaha Trailhead Parking lot at 1:30pm and will begin the hike at 1:45pm **SHARP!!**.
We will begin this hike at the Cheaha Trailhead and hike the Pinhoti trail South to McDill point, We will watch the Sunset from the overlook below McDill Point.
Overall this hike will be about 6 miles out and back and is rated as Moderate.
Bring water and a trail snack and be **ABSOLUTELY SURE**!! to bring a Headlamp or flashlight with fresh batteries because we will be night hiking back to the parking lot.
Afterwards, We will be headed to the Mellow Mushroom in Oxford for pizza and beer.
