All participants receive a handmade notebook from local Book Artist Alana Baldwin.
- Read poems with other people who are interested in poetry.
- Learn more about some of the basic craft elements of a poem, like line, voice, metaphor, and prosody.
- Find and hone your voice as a writer.
- Compare notes with other writers.
- Write a new and original poetic work.
