“Speak For Magic City” Featuring All Cows Eat Grass, Lady Woo, Ashley M. Jones, CJ Tha Sticman

Good People Vote is proud to bring “Speak For Magic City” sponsored by the Women Donors Network to Birmingham for the second time. “Speak For Magic City” will celebrate and empower voters ahead of the Tuesday, November 8 election. The voting celebration and block party will take place for the second time Friday, Oct. 14 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Good People Vote is an initiative that aims to break down the barriers to voting through experimental engagement methods that spark conversations and self-reflection to encourage communities to take ownership of the civic process.

The “Speak For Magic City” event will be held in the Woodlawn Municipal Lot across from Slutty Vegan ATL and hosted by V94.9’s Lady Woo to celebrate and empower voters to get out the vote on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Good People Vote will provide voter scorecards, registration booths and other election information for free on-site.

Entertainment will include a live performance from All Cows Eat Grass — an Atlanta-based band who will be touring with Grammy award-winning artist PJ Morton later this month — spoken word by Poet Laureate of the State of Alabama Ashley M. Jones and a DJ session from CJ Tha Sticman.
