Printmaking and the Environment with Paperworkers Local

October 6, 2018 @ 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Paperworkers Local, a local printmaking cooperative, has teamed up with the BMA to put together an exhibition of work by local printmakers to be displayed in their gallery this fall. Hear from exhibition organizers, Mimi Boston and Enid Keyser, and go behind the scenes to discover their creative process at Paperworkers Local. Participants will learn how to make and print an etched drypoint  copper plate that is then layered with a monoprint. The second class, students will join us in the Museum Studios to finish their own original prints and view Marianne Nicolson’s exhibition Waterline which is the show that began this collaboration.
