Don’t miss NSLM Deputy Director, Frank Adams’ interview with the legendary Mr. Melvin Humes at the NSLM on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. This installment of Pitch Talk: The History of the Industrial League will include a Reception with Players honoring the contribution Birmingham’s Industrial League made to the Negro Leagues. Enjoy performances from actors of the Make It Happen Theatre Company, who will present monologues from Alicia Johnson-Williams’ play, “Home Plate Heroes.”
