Oak Mnt loop hike >>>Kings Chair/Lake Tranquility…7 miles
September 17, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 2:30 pm
We will meet at the North Trailhead parking lot at 9am and will begin this hike at 9:15 SHARP!!
We will begin this hike at the North Trailhead and hike the Blue Trail to the Kings Chair Overlook, Then continue South on the Blue Trail to the Blue/Red connector trail, then cross the Red Road and hike the Red/White connector up to the White Trail, from there we will hike down to the Yellow Trail near Maggies Glen where we will continue along the Yellow Trail to and around Lake Tranquility, We will pass the BMX area and the cabins and continue on the White trail to the North Trailhead to complete this 7 mile hike.
This hike will be rated Difficult/Strenuous because of elevation changes
Be sure to bring plenty of water and a trail snack
There will be an optional lunch and libations afterwards at Oak Mountain Brewing and Margarita Grill in Pelham
