Hops and Drops

Knight Eady is set to host the first Hops and Drops Pickleball Mixer on July 29, 2023, at City Walk BHAM. Teams of two can register for the mixer and receive an official event t-shirt and drink ticket. The event marks the first tournament-style event for new players looking to test their skills.

Pickleball is America’s fastest growing sport, sweeping the nation among all demographics. Hops and Drops is designed to be a fun and unique way for young professionals to enjoy a summer night in Birmingham, dipping their toes into the fast-growing game of pickleball while enjoying beer, music and friends.

Teams will be split into two brackets based on their skill level. The “hops” bracket hosts teams who are looking to have a good time and enjoy light-hearted competition. The “drops” bracket features teams who are looking for a more serious competition.

The Hops and Drops event will begin at 5:00 p.m. and last until 10:00 p.m. at City Walk BHAM, the city’s newest outdoor entertainment space. Teams can enjoy a post-match snack and brew at one of the food trucks on-site or City Walk’s Bier Garden.
