Hike in Oak Mountain State Park

Let’s meet at the Camp Tranquility Road (or the Boy Scout Camp Road) which is a short distance past Terrace Dr if you enter the main entrance to the park. We’ll hike up to the Boy Scout Camp, look around a little and then follow the horse trail down to the Yellow Trail, go over the dam. We will follow Yellow (or the horse trail if we don’t feel up to that last big hill on Yellow) back to the road and out to the cars. It is about 4.5 miles and my pace is moderate since I am rehabbing from a hip replacement. Bring water and snacks. It’s likely to be quite warm.
