Firehouse Block Party

On Sunday, October 23rd, 2022, the Firehouse is throwing a BLOCK PARTY with JAHNAH CAMILLE, TROOPER, and RUFFINO!

Firehouse students will ROCK the block, performing everything from Taylor Swift to Twisted Sister. Local legends Shaheed and DJ Supreme kick things off at 1p with an open call workshop. Interested participants will learn the core elements of hip hop, everything from microphone flow to breakdancing. Following, local Go-Go legend David “Super Dave” Johnson will teach a free drum clinic. 

Rickshaw, Not Ya Average Leaf, Ono Ice, and Simply Sonequa Poundcakes will be on-site with food and treats. We’ll be slinging adult beverages by Cahaba and Grassroots.

Great food, great drinks, interactive programming, and live music. What could be better?

This is a family-friendly event. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Firehouse Community Arts
