Canyon Talks: Ray Morgan The Venom Interviews

March 12, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

The JSU Field Schools are proud to host Ray Morgan at the Little River Canyon Center for our 2018 Canyon Talks. Ray Morgan has been a private-sector reptile enthusiast for more than 40 years. Originally from Southern California, he now lives at Lake Arenal in Costa Rica and provides the local community with educational programs on local snakes, as well as relocation of snakes that get a little too close to human habitation. In 2016, Ray released The Venom Interviews, the first documentary film of its kind about the work and science of venomous herpetology. His current project is a series of training videos for the African Society of Venimology to help medical professionals manage snakebites in Sub-Saharan Africa. This event is free and open to the public.
