CahabaQue benefiting Breast Cancer Research Foundation of AL

Read Time 1 Minutes

October 2, 2021 @ 1:00 pm 5:00 pm

Come out to Cahaba Brewing Company for BBQ, beer and bragging rights at the 8th Annual CahabaQue BBQ Cook-Off, supporting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama.

Cook teams will compete for the best BBQ and bragging rights with trophies and cash prizes awarded to the top teams. Sign up your cook team here. If you have questions about the competition or signing up, shoot an email to events@cahababrewing.com.

Try all-you-can-eat samples from each team’s BBQ offerings, while enjoying craft beer and live music. And don’t forget to cast your vote for your favorite Birmingham backyard BBQ! Gates open at 1:00 PM and the event will run until 5:00 PM or until the ‘Que runs out. Make a day of it and hang out with us for a great cause: supporting breast cancer research happening right here in Alabama.

The event will also feature a kids’ zone (with a bounce house!) and activities for the little ones. General Admission tickets are $15 in advance for ages 11 & up, and children 10 & under are free. Tickets will be $20 at the gate.

VIP Tickets are $50 and include early entrance to the event (first dibs on the QUE!), access to the Redmont Distillery VIP Lounge, private bathroom (no need to wait in line), beer and liquor tastings throughout the day (while supplies last), and a swag bag with a value up to $75!

Sponsorship Opportunities Available: Is your company interested in sponsoring this year’s CahabaQue? We would love to have you join us in the fun and support of research. Email events@cahababrewing.com to find out how you can get involved.

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama is an independent 501C3 nonprofit organization supporting innovative research to help diagnose, treat, prevent and eradicate the disease. Since its inception in 1996, the BCRFA has raised over $10 million to fund research at the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at UAB and their collaborative partners. All funds raised stay here in the state of Alabama, but the research has a global, life-saving impact.
