Forging a Leaf Key Fob
Students will learn how to forge a key fob in the shape of a leaf. Floral and decorative patterns are a hallmark of smithing; rather it’s for a unique decoration or repeating pattern. It is often a artistic liberty used to enhance work as well as show likeness through the dichotomy of the hard steel and organic shape. In this class students will advance their skills by forging a key-fob in the shape of a leaf. Techniques such as dishing, pattern impression, and brush gilding will be introduced.
There will be no refunds within 14 days of the event.
