BBQ & Chili Cookoff

TASTE

Come taste barbecue and chili prepared by fellow church-members and friends! Tickets are $8 for adults; $5 for kids (4-10). Kids under 4 are free. Tickets can be purchased at the event.

COOK

Prove your barbecue is the best by preparing any smoked meat (pork, beef, chicken or wild game) plus a homemade sauce. The entry fee has been decreased–now just $25! A panel of judges will award the winning individual/team $250. The People’s Choice prize is $150.

If chili is your specialty, cook up a pot to share. The entry fee has been decreased–now just $10!Judges don’t vote on the chili but the crowd does and the prize money totals $100.

We’ll have B’ham ice cream trucks, a water slide, corn hole, and live music by The Elev8tors (featuring Jim Binzer, Danny Kirkpatrick, Harold Sudderth and friends).

WANT A SMOKED, BOSTON BUTT?

Smoked, bone-in butts (8-10 lbs each) will be smoked on site! A pint of finger-lickin’ sauce is included. Order now.
