A night of greatest hits, chosen by YOU!

Birmingham, Ala. – Opera Birmingham presents Jukebox 2021, a virtual concert of soaring melodies and beloved favorites! Jukebox 2021 will be available for viewing at www.operabirmingham.org/Jukebox2021 on Saturday, March 20 at 6 PM CDT. The concert is free. Watch online and sing along from the comfort of your own home.

An auction of arias and songs for the Jukebox Playlist will begin on Friday, February 5 at 12 PM CST and end on Sunday, February 14 at 8PM CST. For $10 per vote, you can vote for your favorite song(s) sung by one of the participating singers to be included in the lineup at Jukebox 2021. Pick all of your favorites chosen by each of the singers: baritone Corey McKern, soprano Susanna Phillips, soprano Brandie Sutton, and baritone Corey Trahan.

Mr. McKern is a long-time favorite of Opera Birmingham and a Pelham, Ala. native who performs throughout the Unites States and internationally. Ms. Phillips is a Huntsville, Ala. native who frequently graces the stages of the Metropolitan Opera and is regarded as one of the most sought-after opera singers of our time. Ms. Sutton is also a Huntsville native and an Oakwood University graduate who now performs all over the world. Corey Trahan is famed by Opera Birmingham audiences for his comedic roles on the Opera Birmingham stages and across the stages of the world.

While the concert is free, there is an option to purchase a special Zoom After-Party Package for $250.  As part of the package, you will receive an invitation to attend an exclusive after-party following the concert at 7 PM CDT via Zoom with one of the featured artists. The package also includes a special basket with two bottles of wine and delicious delights, delivered right to your home. Availability of this package is limited. As part of the Jukebox 2021 festivities, there is also a silent auction, featuring artwork, collectibles, restaurant gift certificates, special experiences, and more! Connect to the biggest screen and best speakers in your home in order to enjoy the Jukebox 2021 concert at the highest quality with as close to a live-performance experience as is possible in these times. You can stream it on your computer, laptop, phone, tablet – any device with an internet connection. You may also watch it on your TV by connecting it to your MAC or PC with an HDMI cable or other streaming device.
