Celebrate Life! with us at our LIVE (In Person) Sickle Cell Walk in Birmingham, AL while we commemorate World Sickle Cell Day and Juneteenth.
Thank you for joining our Central AL Sickle Cell Walk. The funds you are raising will provide direct services for the human needs of people with sickle cell disease within the Foundation’s 13 county service area which encompasses Jefferson, Shelby, Talladega, Etowah, Calhoun, Walker, Blount, Cherokee, Clay, St. Clair, Cullman, Cleburne, and Randolph.

Join Us on Saturday, June 18, 2021 (World Sickle Cell Day)
If you are not able to join the walk, we highly encourage you to share your stories via pictures and video clips of how you will creatively and joyously commemorate the Walk, perhaps with a walk around your neighborhood with your family, a bicycle or motorcycle ride, walking with your pet, etc., and sharing you experience with us on our Facebook page.

2022 Walk Team Captains
We are asking that you continue to ask for donations from your supporters by creating a team page (click here) so that you can raise money for the Sickle Cell Walk.
2022 Walkers – Individuals
A donation of at least $30 for adults age 18 and up and at least $20 for students age 17 and under will include an official t-shirt.
We will also have t-shirt orders ready for pick-up by appointment only.
