Unos Tacos is bringing even more flavor to The Pizitz Food Hall 🌮

You’ve probably seen the name Unos Tacos on social media or maybe even in one of our recent guides. The eatery opened in The Pizitz Food Hall last month at the onset of the COVID-19 crisis and since has become a local favorite for curbside pickup.

Their menu is constantly evolving, but the staples include fresh tacos, burritos, nachos and bowls with a variety of options like beef, chicken, and vegetarian specialty entrees.

Chuy Mendez, who also manages The Louis Bar at The Pizitz, has had his hands full recently, as you can probably imagine. Keeping a restaurant and bar running during a pandemic doesn’t seem like an easy task, but Mendez and his team have taken it in stride. Instead of postponing the opening of Unos Tacos, he took the risk and went for it. 

“The past month has been complete trial and error for me and Unos… I’ve been working hard for months trying to open and I wasn’t going to let a pandemic stop me from opening.

The city has shown up for me and everyone else doing curbside. So every day I’m motivated to keep our momentum going as I work toward building the Unos Brand for myself and the city.”

Cheers to Cinco de Mayo Specials + Supporting Local 🤩

Just the thought of Cinco de Mayo makes my mouth water for tacos + margs, and Unos Tacos along with The Louis Bar in The Pizitz Food Hall are both serving up delicious eats and drinks to celebrate—curbside, of course. They’ll be open all day on May 5 from 11AM to 8PM and their specials will include:

• $2 tacos all day for #TacoTuesday + Cinco de Mayo
• $50 Taco platters for pre-order only (Include combination of chicken, steak and chorizo with rice, beans, guacamole, salsa and queso and feed 3-4 people.)
• Single to-go margarita with a 50ml bottle of Casamigos Tequila
• Margarita cocktail kits that come with a 750ml bottle + 1/2 gallon marg mix
• To-go beer specials from The Louis

Unos Tacos’ regular hours are currently:

•  Monday from 5-8PM
• Tuesday-Friday from 11AM-2PM + 5-8PM
• Saturday from 10:30AM-3PM
