If you’re a fan of fresh, local food, you’re gonna want to check out Alabama Sustainable Agriculture‘s 5th Annual Graze: Birmingham. It’s Sunday, September 8, from 5-8PM at Avondale Brewing, and it’s gonna be soooo tasty.

If you know you want to go and sample the fare of 17 chef and farm pairs, reserve your spot now. Suggested price for adults is $45 and for kids is $10 — there’s also a sliding scale.

What is Graze: Birmingham?

It’s basically a huge picnic, except instead of bringing your food, you show up to sample the best of what 17 farmer-chef pairs have to offer.

Think farmers, chefs, friends and more. Find out who’s behind your food, and experience for yourself how good food tastes when it was harvested or processed within a couple of days. Fresh will take on a whole new meaning.

Hungry yet?

Who are this year’s chef and farmer pairs?

This year’s lineup is a veritable who’s who on the North-Central Alabama food scene. I really want to go just to check out what all these folks have to offer . . . and all in one place.

Reserve your spot here.

Who’s behind Graze 2019?

Alabama Sustainable Agriculture Network (ASAN), the hosts of Graze: Birmingham, has lots of friends. They’re a network (hence the name) of all sorts of organizations involved in growing food sustainably (obviously, right?).

Here are some of the folks who will be helping to make Graze: Birmingham a success:
