For Adamson Ford, giving back to the community includes reaching out to Birmingham’s homeless

When they talk about family, they’re talking about community. Adamson Ford is all about Birmingham, especially when it comes to those locals who need some help making it from one day to the next.
It was a great day to share some community love and bring together the people of Birmingham for one thing: serving others.

“While we are thrilled to celebrate our 100th anniversary, we are joyful about the opportunity to give back to people in our own community.”
For The People
Feeding and giving out extra love to the homeless is the mission of The Just People Project (JPP). They also help them locate permanent housing, transport them to medical appointments, assist in getting identification, and taking them to church.
On Saturday July 14 at Linn Park, The Just People Project, along with Church of the Highlands, hosted Serve Day.
Adamson Ford volunteered and made a donation in honor of the dealership’s 100th anniversary this year.
Free Services, Medical Care
Food trucks like Wasabi Juan’s gave out hot meals, and along with stocking up on the essentials, people met with medical professionals for physical checkups and received foot care.
Music and dancing helped bring the crowd together, and church members prayed with those who requested it. Adamson Ford Dealer Linea Israel said that the Adamson Ford family was honored to be a part of this community effort.
“We wouldn’t be who we are today without the support of the Birmingham community,” Israel said. “We believe in community service, and giving back to the people and community who have been with us for 100 years. Today was all about Birmingham and showing what happens when we come together to help others.”
Adamson Ford demonstrates their commitment to the Birmingham community regularly. The dealership sponsors organizations such as UAB Football, the Exceptional Foundation, JDRF, St. Jude and many high school athletic teams.
