At the same time many college degree programs require an internship. Summer is often the time students participate in these, but applications deadlines are fast approaching.

An internship isn’t just a temporary summer job. Often it is paid position but sometimes it’s not. A good internship can be a bridge to your life’s career or calling. It can be an opportunity to experiment in an industry that interests you.

To be a great intern you might have to get outside your comfort zone. Network, take risks, find a mentor or someone in the industry you are interested in who can give you some advice.  Research online to get your resume up to par.
