Red Mountain Park is for lovers.

Since 2013, Red Mountain Park has been holding annually a special Valentine’s zip line event on top of the Kaul Adventure tower. Called “Lovers Leap” the event is scheduled to be held on February 10th.

In a nutshell here is how this memorable celebration of your loved one works.

Couples and individuals take a plunge side-by-side down the 1,000 foot zip line in the dark.

That’s right. At nightfall.

Talk about a bonding experience. Our friends at Red Mountain Park have watched for years couples on their first date or  married up to 30 years take the plunge. They guarantee it is an awesome experience.

Love Red Mountain Park

Along with the heart racing zip line “leap”,  participants are also provided a guided hike in to the Park, flowers, s’mores by the fire, and a complimentary photo to commemorate the evening.  The event raises monies for our beloved Red Mountain Park.

According to Katie Bradford, Director  of Community and Public Relations at the park:

“When you join us for this evening event you support your loved one as they take a big leap from the top of the Kaul Adventure Tower but you also support Red Mountain Park, as proceeds help support our programs, keep the Park free of entrance fees and keep the Park so well-maintained!

This is a very popular event that usually reaches capacity. Make your reservations today by calling 913-7899 or go to redmountainreservations.org
