Birmingham Babypalooza turns 11 this weekend

This FREE event has a lot to offer. From baby and maternity information sessions to linking you to local parenting resources, you will get the chance to explore the importance of Maternity Wellness, Child Safety, and Early Learning.
Starting in 2006, Birmingham’s Babypalooza brought a family affair to the lives of first-time parents, grandparents, etc. Since then it has grown exponentially. The event consists of mini seminars from health experts that bust harrowing parenting myths and teach other must know practices.
Topics range from taking baby home, lactation, car seat installation, infant CPR, safe sleep practices, baby proofing and more. Attendees should expect a great deal of fun as well!
Don’t worry there will be plenty of fun too. Go ahead and get your tbaby registry started or even get a 4D ultrasound of your precious bump that reveals your baby’s gender. Of course, baby shower ideas will be handy throughout the event as well.
This year’s sponsors include Children’s of Alabama, Birmingham Forward, ALFA Insurance, College Counts, 104.7 WZZK, Coca Cola and more.

When and Where?
Birmingham Babypalooza will take place at the BJCC South Hall on Saturday, on August 12th. The event starts at 9:30 am and goes until 2:30 pm.
Other Babypalooza tour dates include the following cities:
- Biloxi, MS – MS Gulf Coast Coliseum – September 16
- Nashville, TN – Babies-r-Us – October 15
The tour began in Montgomery, AL at the beginning of April and since then has made it throughout Alabama and beyond.
