Calling all cyclists! Gear up this weekend and get ready for an adventure that covers 250 miles. Over the course of three days cyclists will take on and conquer up to 100 miles each day. The Deep South Cancer Foundation is partnering with Magic City Cycliad to overcome the daily barriers created by cancer.

“Eat a Peach” is the second weekend tour of the Cycliad tour. On April 7, participants will meet in the Briarwood Church parking lot and will be transported to Anniston, Ala. where the tour will begin. This is where the fun starts. Riders will bike over 250 miles through the weekend ending in Dothan, Ala. and will be transported back to Briarwood Church as the event comes to a close. Participants can expect food, lodging and transportation for the event.

Each Cycliad Weekend participant is asked to raise a minimum of at least $1,000 for the entire weekend and all weekend participants must fully complete the registration form and submit a nonrefundable $100 registration fee during the registration. If you don’t reach the goal you set to donate for your fundraiser, don’t worry, you won’t be charged for the difference.

One Day Ride

If you’re not able to join in the action packed weekend but want to attend one day, there’s a “One Day Ride” option.  Riders who attend one day will be responsible for round-trip transportation to and from the ride. To ride, just choose the day you want to register for and click “Register now” on the site.

SWAG gifts

Each registrant receives a gift bag, T-shirt, coffee mug, water bottle, jersey socks and a 250 mile sticker. However, if you registered after March 24, the gift can’t be guaranteed.
