The Innovation Depot, the largest startup business incubator in the Southeast, continues to advance the interest of Birmingham by facilitating A+ companies and helping them expand operations.
Now Fleetio, first housed inside the massive facility, is moving out and setting up shop near the Pizitz!

Fleetio is one of Birmingham’s fastest growing company’s who has created a program to allow companies, dealing with fleet operations, manage them quickly and efficiently.
Speaking with Summerville, he gave us some details of the company’s plan to move out of the incubator and establish a home near the Pizitz later this year!
“We’re pretty excited about the location. It’s right in the middle of the action, across from the Pizitz and a stone’s throw away from Revelator Coffee and other restaurants on 20th Street.”
Details:
- Location – 1900 Building on the corner of Second Ave. North and 19th Street
- 5,000 Square Foot space
- BILT in Alabama is the architect for the renovations
- Contractor – Murray Building Company
- Broker – Keith Hazelrig
- Landlord – Ladd Real Estate
For the past 4 years, Fleetio has been surrounded by the ever evolving tech eco-system (a fancy way of saying technology/innovation culture) within the Depot.
“We’re near other great tech companies like Shipt and Platypi’s new space on 3rd Ave North, and still walking distance to the Innovation Depot as well.”
