Catch Some Indoor Ultimate Frisbee This Weekend

Ultimate Frisbee is growing and it’s made its way to Birmingham. The Grace Klein Community has organized the “HopeHuck” Indoor Ultimate Tourney. This is an opportunity for Frisbee enthusiasts of all skill levels to get involved and bring hope to families in Greater Birmingham through a box of food.Grace Klein Community and D1 Birmingham partnered to bring the city of Birmingham the exciting chance to grab a disc, get your friends together, and support local missions through a brand new tournament in Birmingham.

On Sunday Feb. 26, 2017, Grace Klein Community will host it’s first Ultimate Frisbee tournament fundraiser at the indoor football stadium at D1 Sports.

The recommended donation of $5 per participant will help Grace Klein Community in a variety of ways, allowing them to serve local Birmingham community by bringing more than 200 families in need monthly food boxes that contain everything from meats, to bread and staple goods.

All teams who participate in the event will walk away with a prize, and the winner of the skills contest will receive a special prize.

Grace Klein is a non-profit organization that feeds about five thousand families per month through private donations and fundraising events.
