
The Tragic City Rollers will host its second day of February recruitment at Skates 280 this Wednesday Feb. 22, at 7:30 P.M.

The Tragic City Rollers are a women’s roller derby team. Tragic City is always looking to expand their family of skaters, referees, and non-skating officials. Recruitment events are hosted many times throughout the year and all are welcomed – no skating experience required.
Tragic City is a competitive roller derby league that strives to develop women of athleticism and character. The primary goals is to empower women and make a positive impact on the community.
Need to know:
- TCR is for 19+ years of age
- You will not have to purchase skates to attend recruitment. You may rent a pair at the venue for free.
- You are not required to purchase any equipment for recruitment. We have a collection of donated protective gear that you are always welcome to borrow.
- There is NO FEE to join recruitment implemented by Tragic City Rollers.
- All skill levels are welcomed. Whether it’s been 10 years since you put on skates, or skate weekly.
- You will not be hit or practice making contact in any capacity during recruitment for your safety and the safety of others.
- You’re encouraged to familiarize yourself with the rules, but not a requirement for recruitment.
- If you’re unable to make it to recruitment night but still want to be a part of the family, just contact Tragic City Rollers.
