Re-zoning needed for Future Slice Pizza in Vestavia

Local Birmingham pizza joint, Slice Pizza and Brewhouse, is calling for rezoning within Vestavia so to add its second location within Birmingham.

Slice Pizza has one location within Lakeview and this rendering, provided by the Vestavia City Council, illustrate the one that will, hopefully, go up in Vestavia.

Slice Pizza has its first and currently only location within Lakeview that thrives on the concept of “Keep it Local”.

Details for the Future:

The future location, 3104 Timberlake Drive, is currently under a R-1 Residential zoning. The meeting to the Vestavia City Council is to change the property to B-1.2 Commercial.

Planning and Zoning unanimously approved the request on Dec. 8, with the condition that the establishment install signage to deter motorists from continuing down Timberlake Drive.

The new Slice Pizza will be very close to some of the newest developments within Vestavia.

If you remember, the Patchwork Farms development opened up Bham’s newest Publix in the fall of 2016. There are multiple areas for food tenants and other areas for retail in Vestavia’s newest development.
