B’ham, the Comeback kid – Home Sales hit Major Peak in November

2008 was hard on real estate, and Birmingham was not far from the negative impact, but we aren’t called the Magic City for nothing.

This November proved that comebacks are not only for the karate kid 😉

According to the Alabama Center for Real Estate, this past month proved to be quite beneficial for the Birmingham metro area.

Details Provided by the ACRE for November:
  • 1,074 units sold
  • 34% above 2015
  • $189,450 – Average price for a home

The ACRE predicted that from year-to-date, 12,449 transactions would close when in actuality, 13,634 units (homes) were sold.
