As the resurgence of Avondale continues to amaze those in the area and beyond, the restaurants, bars, and hangouts keep improving.

Talk about a Flashback Friday post!
Entering The Marble Ring, you are instantly taken back to the 1920’s. The entrance even screams old school as you walk through the Tardis, a Dr. Who inspired telephone booth, then calling in to be seated.
There is room enough for 84 people and no more; only seating room. Keeping the classiness of the 20’s and of course the elusiveness of a “speakeasy” is the goal. Elegance, grace, and a sense of time travel follows you when entering and throughout the whole experience.
In a recent report by AL.com:
“We tried to go as 1920s as possible, but what was important to us is that you don’t walk in and feel like you’re at a bar. We want you to walk in and feel like you’re in your living room or in your house. That’s why, if you look at the bar, a lot of it is designed like a kitchen would be in a home,”

- Friday and Saturday’s open from 5 p.m – 2 a.m.
In the 1920’s, alcoholic drinks were not quite what they are now. Due to prohibition, certain mixtures and beverages were in low supply, but this bar has reinvented (or as I like to say, innovated ;)) those to look as if they did back then, but continues the impeccable taste that consumers love.
