Historic – Present Day Five Points South Honored at Vulcan

June 24th – May 2017 Vulcan Museum will commemorate the history and present day aesthetic of Five Points South.

Over the many years, this area of Birmingham has been through all kinds of looks. From booming, to a decrease in attention, to a resurgence among commercial and residential real estate.

“We picked Five Points because it such a unique example of diversification here in Birmingham, and in the South in general… It was such an interesting story to work on how people from all income levels and cultural backgrounds came together, and it was like that from the very beginning and still is today.”

There are many things involved in the piece like master plans of residential areas and how it shows the progression of the particular Bham area.
