$750 Thousand Raised by Fleetio

Birmingham is a melting pot for startup companies to grow into full-scale businesses. Here is yet another wonderful case coming out of the Innovation Depot.

Fleetio, the company providing fleet management software and apps for other businesses, dug deep and pulled out $750,000 from private investors. This is huge! It will allow them to expand operations in the employee level and simply help drive up awareness.

Here is a bit from the BBJ:
It currently has 16 employees. With the investment, he said Fleetio will immediately hire four to five new workers and will likely add another handful of workers later this year.

With the generosity and faith from Birmingham investors, one of the fastest growing companies in Bham will be on a straighter path toward moving into a larger building and maybe “to have our name on a building one day” Tony Summerville (CEO of Fleetio) says.
