Lottery Bill Back from the Dead!

The vote will go to the public in November after all.

Thursday the bill was dead on the vine in the House.  Friday, a second vote was taken and three representatives shifted to the ‘Yes’ side agreeing that the lesser of the evils (gambling versus medicaid shortfall) would be gambling.

If passed, 10% of the proceeds will go to the Education Fund with the remainder going to the General Fund.  The first $100M of the General Fund will go to fund Medicaid.  How will you vote?
