Trim Tab’s Paradise Now gets acclaim

Trim Tab Brewery took home a bronze medal this year at the Great American Beer Festival!  The festival held competitions for 161 different styles of beer.  Competition was stout – nearly 8,000 different beers were submitted by over 2000 different breweries.

Trim Tab’s Paradise Now, a fruity, wheaty Berliner Weisse, was an unexpected smash hit on its first seasonal release, so much that the group decided to sell it all year.  This new critical acclaim shows that the beer has more than regional appeal.

Why is this in a champagne glass?  Paradise Now is a Berliner Weisse, which Napoleonic- era French soldiers called it the “champagne of the North.”

Trim Tab placing in the Great American Beer Festival is a big deal.  The festival is the largest of its kind in the US.  However, there are larger competitions: I expect Trim Tab to join the World Beer Cup next year!  “The Olympics of Beer Competitions” could place Alabama on every beer-drinker’s map.

Want to pick up a few cans of the award-winning Berliner?  You should probably hurry to celebrate before they all disappear!
