Welcome to the Bham Now Nature Roundup Mother’s Day edition.

Along with flowers and Sunday brunch, let me suggest taking your mother outside this Sunday for Mother’s Day.  Go see the Cahaba lilies at the Cahaba River National Wildlife Refuge or take a lovely walk at Ruffner Mountain, Red Mountain Park, Oak Mountain State Park, Turkey Creek Nature Preserve and much much more. Visit the Birmingham Botanical Gardens or Aldridge Gardens.

Bottomline: Make Mother’s Day 2017 memorable – observe wildlife, the bees, the wildflowers and the blue sky. Hold hands. Nature will do the rest.
