Kim Lee is excited to unveil Forge, new co-working space at the Pizitz

Forge, one of the more anticipated office spaces, located within The Pizitz, will soon be unveiled.

As sited many times before, a major key to Birmingham’s success is the rise of new business and affordable office space. Let’s check out what this one is all about!

Bham Now reported earlier that Kim Lee, founder of Forge, is in the process of renovating the 2nd floor mezzanine of The Pizitz.

Accordingly, she is also working hard to make known the power of co-working, for entrepreneurs. Lee is passionate about being around a community and promises her space will offer that sort of atmosphere.

Mrs. Lee presented at the 1Million Cups Bham meet-up, last Wednesday. This was an opportunity to share her aspirations, wants, needs, and passions about her new space.

“Forge is an affordable way for people to come in and be in community, surrounded by like-minded workers.”

The new development is, at the surface, affordable office space but there is so much more.

Located in the heart of Downtown’s revitalization, and in the new Pizitz building, it’s accessible to all sorts of amenities.

In case you missed it, here is the list of amenities!

  • Collaborative Workspaces
  • Conference Rooms
  • Mailing Address
  • Fiber Internet
  • Endless Coffee
  • Onsite Parking
  • Fitness Room
  • Sauna
  • Pool
  • Affordable Healthcare

If these aren’t enough, the multiple food stalls are right below, so you can get a taste of Birmingham without going too far!

The space is still in development. The completion date is set around August, and construction is in full swing.

Presently, Mrs. Lee will only be operating on the first two sides of the mezzanine.

The third and fourth sides will hopefully be utilized within 6 months to a year of operation.
